How to use:
1. Do not plug in the power cable yet, exposed Molex and IEC can be potentially dangerous.
2. If the drive is IDE, make sure the jumper pins are set to Master (if you are unsure then ask or look in your manual by searching your drive model online).
3. Plug in the IEC cable into the converter, then the drive into the power box. Now plug in the USB, and the hard drive into the correct socket.
4. Check that the drive is plugged in to the power box, to the converter cable and that the cable is plugged into the computer.
5. Now plug the converter box power in and the hard drive will start. The computer will recognise it within a few seconds and after about 10-20 seconds it will be ready for use in "My Computer".
6. Next time you plug it in, it will be ready within a few seconds (less waiting time now that the computer knows what it is).
